| Business development Manager | ||
| Objective | ||
| Execute and coordinate travel trade marketingprojects within the NBTC China office. Liaison and keep close relationship with Chinese travel trade on daily basis, finding business opportunities within the Chinese travel industry for Holland as a destination. Develop and execute relevant marketing and activities plan and being responsible for quality result deliveries. Execute and coordinate any assignments within NBTC China office. | ||
| Report to: Chief Representative/Director China of NBTC | ||
| Main responsibilities: | ||
| 1. Develop travel trade marketing and activities plan as well as execution plan to make sure quality result is assumed. | ||
| 2. Execute market intelligence task and report to China Chief Representativewith business opportunities and proposals for tackling them. | ||
| 3. Project management and coordination between projects. | ||
| 4. Project include but not limited to: | ||
| a) Developand execute joint promotional campaigns. | ||
| b) Develop Holland itineraries to be promoted within travel trade in line with pre-defined themes. | ||
| c) Organize travel trade educational seminars as well as road shows and educational tours | ||
| d) Organize trade events. | ||
| e) Compose and distribute travel trade newsletters | ||
| f) Compose and distribute travel trade educational materials. | ||
| g) Handling general inquiries of travel trade | ||
| h) Maintain and develop valuable travel trade relations. | ||
| i) Maintain and develop travel trade database and manage EDM projects. | ||
| 5. Duties otherwise assigned. | ||
| Successful candidate should meet following criteria. | ||
| 1. Bachelor degree | ||
| 2. Minimum 10 years relevant working experience within travel industry | ||
| 3. Bi-lingual, Mandarin and fluent English in Writing, Reading and speaking. | ||
| 4. Being able to travel | ||
| 5. Experience with Dutch companies is an added value for this position. | ||
| 6. Enthusiastic and eager to learn and with pro-active attitude. | ||
| 7. Good inter-person skills | ||
